About the Foundation for America's Blood Centers:
Founded in 1997, the Foundation for America's Blood Centers (FABC) was created to support the members of America's Blood Centers by funding programs and initiatives that benefit blood center employees, as well as the donors and patients that they serve, to help ensure that a safe and adequate blood supply is available to all who need it.
The mission of the Foundation for America's Blood Centers (FABC) is to fund educational initiatives that improve the availability and safety of blood for the sake of the patient.
What We Do:
- Fosters a well-educated and responsible blood community in alignment with the Core Values of America's Blood Centers: Innovation, Data Integration, Education & Advocacy
- Funds member-focused initiatives to sustain their mission of providing access to a safe and adequate blood supply
- Supports excellence in the creation of best practices in blood management and blood safety
- Provides opportunities for industry partners to give back to the blood centers and the communities they serve
The FABC offers several ways for you to get involved:
Campaigns - Ongoing fundraising projects
that the Foundation is actively fundraising for.
Member Grants - The FABC is committed to helping ABC members, individually and collectively, achieve their missions through grants.
Sponsorship - Opportunities to support ABC Member blood centers and network.
