The Northern California Community Blood Bank has an immediate opening for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS). This is a full-time, fully benefitted position. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for activities related to processing, testing, storage, transportation, and other handling of blood and blood products. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs reference immunohematological testing and participates in training, validation, implementation of new procedures, and compliance with regulatory and standard-setting agencies. Experience, Education and Licensure: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in science, medical technology or a related field. Valid current CA license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Experience preferred but will train a motivated new CLS.
