Let your voices by heard.

April 26, 2023

Registration is now closed.

Our annual Day on Capitol Hill will be bigger and better than ever in 2023! This day is now a part of Blood Advocacy Week, America’s Blood Centers’ new initiative designed to bring together members of the blood community, legislators, agency decisionmakers, advocates, providers, patients, and more to learn about and advance policies that promote the value of blood to patients, communities, and our healthcare system.

The annual Day on Capitol Hill brings together blood center employees from across the country and connects them with their Senators and members of Congress as part of our shared ongoing work advancing the Advocacy Agenda, which is designed to help America's community blood centers retain donors and ensure long-term stability of the nation's blood supply.

Joining together, we’ll make our collective voice heard on Capitol Hill. ABC will arrange meetings for each member of Congress and provide additional resources to help inform them and their staffs about the latest policies impacting the blood community. We encourage all blood centers to take advantage of this virtual setting to easily meet with your local Congressional leaders and build relationships that will pay dividends well beyond this single day.

Each individual who would like to participate in Advocacy Day must register individually. We will arrange for group visits but will need information for each person in attendance.

During your registration process, we will require you to input your home address. This is used to properly inform representatives who in the meeting are also in their local area.
