America’s Blood Centers (ABC) and Vanderbilt University have collaborated to create the Executive Fellows Program, a groundbreaking leadership initiative for the blood community. The program offers a unique cohort experience, immersing participants in a year-long journey dedicated to enhancing executive skills and fostering a growth mindset.

Program Components
Leadership Residency
A week long immersion at Vanderbilt University featuring a variety of internationally recognized faculty, blood community-specific case studies, cohort networking, and more.
In-Person Learning Immersions
Three in-person learning immersions will supplement the Leadership Residency and be led by nationally recognized faculty.
Virtual Learning Sessions
Live, virtual learning sessions led by Vanderbilt faculty are designed to maintain continuity and engagement among executives throughout the learning journey.
Executive Coaching
Each participant will have access to an executive coach to help refine their leadership skills, with tailored feedback and actionable goals, to ensure continuous professional growth.
Capstone Project
Participants will work in teams within their cohort on a capstone project, showcasing their insights and solutions before their blood community peers at the ABC Annual Meeting.
360 Leadership Assessment
Participants will complete a leadership development assessment to provide an in-depth look at their performance capabilities, challenges, and core drivers.
