America’s Blood Centers brings together its members to coordinate efforts in advocating for state-based policy initiatives that support the vital work of community blood centers, increase access to blood products, and strengthen the donor base. This collaborative approach helps champion local policies nationwide that promote equitable access to blood products and support patient care.
We strongly urge local leaders to consider donating blood if they are eligible to emphasize its importance and motivate others to do the same. Organizing blood drives, utilizing social media platforms to increase awareness, and leveraging their influence can significantly boost blood donation in local communities.
