LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist, with a passion for making a difference, to join our Immunohematology Reference Laboratory team in Gainesville, FL. The position is responsible for following established policies and procedures, identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, and either correct the problems or immediately notify a supervisor, manager, or director. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will resolve complex immunohematology and compatibility problems to provide the safest donor blood for the patients in our community.
