Immunohematology Reference Laboratory Manager

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for a leader with a passion for making a difference to join our Immunohematology Reference Laboratory team in Atlanta, GA.

Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Shift differential applies to eligible evening and overnight hours.

This position is responsible for leading staff engaged in performing laboratory testing and related activities in our AABB-accredited reference laboratory. The IRL Manager is expected to provide day-to-day onsite supervision of testing personnel and reporting of test results under the direction of the Laboratory Director. This position is also responsible for performing laboratory procedures and reporting of test results, as well as ensuring compliance with established laboratory policy and with applicable governmental regulatory requirements from agencies such as CLIA, FDA, AABB, HIPAA, and state licensing regulations.
