Gulf Coast Blood is seeking a dedicated Blood Bank Medical Laboratory Specialist (MLS/MLT) to join our East Texas team and support our lifesaving mission.
In this role, you will perform specialized immunohematology and transfusion medicine testing, ensure accurate blood product processing and distribution, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to providing safe, high-quality blood products to patients throughout the region. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals while upholding AABB, FDA, and internal quality standards.
Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with a current MLS or MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent) and experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Blood banking experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to quality patient outcomes are essential.
