March 9 – 11, 2020
Washington, DC
Update:
We are just a few days away from the start of the 2020 ABC Annual Meeting. At this time, we have every intention to continue with the meeting.
While we recognize the fluid situation, we believe this is an important time to convene as an industry and hold discussions among attendees and with regulators and policymakers to discuss and strategize direction for COVID-19.
This year’s meeting will once again have a central focus on areas of scientific, medical technical (SMT), and advocacy. From implementation challenges for the new bacterial guidance to the operational complexities entailed in gender identification, the SMT Forum will focus on current key issues which will ultimately affect blood center bottom-lines. In addition, advocacy issues will address both internal and external needs ranging from health policy and reimbursement to donor motivations.Â
ADVOCACY DAY
Learn what’s on the healthcare horizon and join your fellow advocates in educating members of Congress and their staff about issues affecting blood centers.
