Director of Supply Chain

The Blood Connection seeks an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations across its growing multi-state blood center network. Reporting to the Vice President of Operational Support Services, this leader will oversee the supply chain infrastructure that supports donor centers, mobile collection operations, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution activities. Responsibilities include directing inventory planning and replenishment, managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations, overseeing warehouse and distribution operations, implementing advanced ERP and supply chain technologies, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and service levels. The Director will collaborate closely with Finance, Quality, and Operations leadership on budgeting, strategic planning, and operational excellence initiatives while developing and mentoring a high-performing supply chain team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, along with 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, blood banking, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated environment.
