Welcome to America's Blood Centers. It's About Life.

UPDATE: Earthquake in Haiti
America’s Blood Centers in coordination with other blood banking organizations and government officials has determined that the current blood supply in the United States is adequate to fill any requests received to support the present needs of Haitian hospitals.

America's Blood Centers encourages the public to
contact their local blood center to schedule an appointment for a future date to ensure the continuation of a stable and adequate blood supply.

Please remember the importance of donating blood year round to meet emergency and every day needs. Thank you.

January is National Blood Donor Month
Make a resolution to start a new habit in 2010: Give the gift of life, often. America’s Blood Centers encourages you to become a regular blood donor beginning this January during the annual celebration of National Blood Donor Month. Throughout January, join America’s Blood Centers, its members and transfusion recipients nationwide in thanking repeat blood donors and continuing to challenge all donors to give blood regularly in 2010.
