Americaβs Blood Centers offers several ways for member blood centers to connect with colleagues in the U.S. and Canada. Whether you are looking to share ideas, identify and analyze trends, or discuss solutions to challenges impacting your job or the blood community, we have exclusive opportunities for you:
Committees
ABC committees and working groups provide the staff at member blood centers with a unique chance to collaborate with their peers and ABC Staff in meaningful work to drive the success of Americaβs Blood Centers. Our committees:
- Provide feedback and direction to the association's leadership and Board of Directors;
- Assist in identifying and solving issues impacting member blood centers; and
- Aid with planning sessions and topics for ABC meetings, workshops, webinars, and forum calls.
ABC CollABOrate Communities
Need to ask a question of your peers, searching for more information on the latest trends in blood banking? The ABC CollABOrate is your resource providing employees at member blood centers with a quick, easy way to connect to the staff members at other blood centers in the U.S. and Canada.
Forums
ABC Forums are collective groups of individuals at member blood centers segmented by job function (e.g., quality, communications, human resources, technical/laboratory, etc.). All employees of ABC member blood centers are encouraged to join forums in their specific disciplines to receive discipline-related information from ABC and participate in town hall-like conference calls. Customize your communication settings by logging into your member account and updating your preferences under Account-->Personal Information.
