Our annual Day on Capitol Hill will be bigger and better than ever in 2023! This day is now a part of Blood Advocacy Week, America’s Blood Centers’ new initiative designed to bring together members of the blood community, legislators, agency decisionmakers, advocates, providers, patients, and more to learn about and advance policies that promote the value of blood to patients, communities, and our healthcare system.
The annual Day on Capitol Hill brings together blood center employees from across the country and connects them with their Senators and members of Congress as part of our shared ongoing work advancing the Advocacy Agenda, which is designed to help America’s community blood centers retain donors and ensure long-term stability of the nation’s blood supply.
